Want Confidence?renata j. razza | Monday, April 30th, 2012 | No Comments »
Celebration breeds confidence. If you can’t muster celebration, then simple acknowledgement can suffice in a pinch.
Without recognizing that you have performed skillfully, admirably, or just better than before, confidence suffocates as surely as if it were trapped in a hermetically sealed plastic bag. After all, confidence is simply faith in your abilities, strengths and talents. Only by allowing yourself to admit your successes can you begin collating the data that feeds confidence.
Next time your brain tries to cheat you of a celebration, remember you’re doing important work as you celebrate. Besides fostering the joy of accomplishment, you are cementing your confidence. And that confidence will in turn feed your continued ability to bloom.
